I went to Pittsburgh for a conference for 3 days.
I really enjoyed the trip in Pittsburgh. Though there are many African-American people (which is unusual in Toronto) on the bus and in downtown, every people are very nice, especially the bus drivers. Even in 10-11pm in downtown, I did not meet any trouble. It is a nice and safe city.
Everything in US is cheaper than Canada, except the salary(US people get high salary but pay less on goods) :-), which encouraged me to work in US if possible. I did some shopping, bought shoes, bag, T-shirt. Really so cheap. I become not liking Canada :-(
Within the conference, I was busy attending the presentations and social activities. Everyday, we have a dinner in conference in difference place. The conference is organized so great. The similar conference held by Canadian society was gonna be realized to be a trash (The registration fee are almost same).

Jane: M2 student is "real" graduate stuent. If you are in Compuster Science, you need to take 6 courses and finish the thesis to graduate. If you are in some Engineering program, you need to take 4 courses and thesis. It is normal to finish everything in 2 years.
Maybe, you still need to take 1 to 2 undergraduate courses. It should be written in your Notice of Acceptance.
